Sonoma, CA 95476 | | Click here to map directions | | Details: MacRostie Winery and Vineyards will begin opening its Sonoma winemaking facility every Saturday for walk-in tastings starting November 1, 2008. This marks the first time in its history that MacRostie has been open for drop-in public tastings, and is in response to the winery’s many requests for weekend visits.
MacRostie’s warehouse winery, located just outside downtown Sonoma will be open to the public every Saturday between 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tastings will be held in the heart of MacRostie’s working winery, and will feature a selection of four current release wines, as well as a library offering. Guests will also be invited to enjoy a fun and informal tour of the winemaking facility, where they will have the opportunity to explore the winery’s production area.
The tasting fee is $10 per person, and this fee will be waived with the purchase of any MacRostie wine. For more information, the public may call 707.996.4480, or visit www.macrostiewinery.com.
In addition to its new Saturday drop-in hours, MacRostie is open for by-appointment tastings Monday through Friday.
